President - NorCal Commercial, Inc.
"I
love the apartment business" is often heard coming from Scott
Gerber's mouth. As a veteran apartment and commercial real estate
broker for more than 18 years, those words are backed up by his
actions.
Born in the Midwest, raised in the Northeast, married in San Francisco, launching his real estate career in Chicago and settling into the "heart" of his career
in the North Bay, Gerber's journey has been a long and interesting one.
As a real estate professional Scott has accomplished a lot, however "Nothing
is more satisfying than taking care of people; that's what keeps me going."
"Most of my clients are older than 55, but being born in 1960 I am still
able to relate to the new breed of real estate investor and the next generation
of ownership."
In the depressed real estate market of 1994 Gerber relocated back to the Bay
Area with his wife and family. "I can't tell you how many people told me
not to do it but I just love this area, so the trade-off was worth it. I bought
a Compaq laptop computer and threw my index cards in the trash."
"The apartment business is great. Anyone with determination and willingness
to take a little risk and work hard can make it. It's inspiring to see and be
part of so many financial success stories. I love it."
At NorCal Commercial, Inc. we combine more than 20 years of brokerage experience
together with a complete set of resources to help the client make the right decisions.
We are "regular people" working hard to help our clients reach their
goals.
